Could the Maya Vehicle Tracking Device Save you money?

The Maya is a sophisticated vehicle tracking and logging device of around 3.5" by 2.5". It uses the GPS satellite positioning system to record its position and GSM GPRS communications to pass the recorded information back to base. When combined with our Data and Support or STACC software it provides a complete vehicle tracking solution. It interfaces to the Engine Management System to obtain information on Fuel Consumption and Driver Performance. It also has comprehensive Geofence facilities.

Hardware

The Maya vehicle tracking hardware is delivered in a metal casing specifically designed to withstand the rigours of the road.

The Maya can be connected to ignition and fuel lines to detect idling and fuel consumption. Alternatively for vehicles with a J1939 CAN interface fuel and ignition data can be gathered from the engine management system instead. Additionally with the J1939 CAN interface driver performance data can be gathered allowing our Data and Support or the STACC software to report when and where incidents of over revving, coasting, harsh braking, speeding etc. occurred.

There are also extra general purpose digital input lines that may be connected to any number of auxiliary devices e.g. sweepers, pressure sensors, temperature sensors, door switches etc.
