August 2010 - New Website Function

Safetrac are proud to unveil the latest features of their Webtrac application. The Postcode Search can quickly locate specific areas on Webtrac's map; this feature is also enabled for latitude and longitude. Attached to this function is the ability to locate the nearest vehicle to any postcode or location- an ideal function for dispatch operators.

These new features were developed and implemented at the request of our customers. If you have any ideas, suggestions or requests for new features, contact Safetrac by clicking here or get in touch with our Twitter account, @safetrac_uk!

August 2010 - Check Point Continues to be Huge Success

In these hard economic times, more organisations are on the lookout for low-cost services that still deliver the required level of quality. More councils and local government bodies are turning to the Check Point system offered through Safetrac's website to ensure the safety of their workers out in the field. Invest in your workers' protection today for as little as £5 a month.

August 2010 - How are your drivers performing?

Safetrac, in partnership with Pointer Telecom Ltd, are pleased to announce a new range of add-on units compatible with the Compact Fleet product line. Sensors can detect if your fleet's drivers are causing wear and tear to their vehicle with harsh braking, or- in these climate-sensitive times- creating more carbon dioxide than necessary by leaving their vehicle idling for long periods. Another sensor detects the sudden differences in G-forces caused by collisions to the front, back and sides of the vehicle with the same type of accelerometer used in airbag deployment. The fuel lid sensor locks the vehicle's fuel cap and ensures that the tank is not drained or tampered with, preventing loss of fuel to thieves or vandals. Dallas keys and Trailer ID enable fleet managers to quickly see who is driving which vehicle, and transporting which specific trailer in the fleet.

The initial financial outlay on these additional sensor units is quickly recovered by large savings on fuel and maintenance. For more information, contact Safetrac directly by clicking here or check out the range of Compact Fleet accessories here.

The Twig range also offers automated man-down alerts as well as website-based location tracking for lone workers out in the field. For more details click here.
