Tracer 300

SafeTrac Tracer 300 is perfect for commercial vehicle tracking by bringing together the ability of track and trace with the elegance of an in-cab display to show real-time telematics information. The Tracer 300 provides all of the standard track and trace functions such as position reporting, ignition (on/off) messages to provide real time journey statistics.

The in-cab display adds the functionality of being able to read and log the CAN data directly from the engine of any diesel vehicle. Performance data such as Gears and Revbands is able to be shown in reports. All of the above information can then be viewed via the internet using our Data and Support or on standalone STACC software.

SMS Communication

SafeTrac Tracer 300 also provides two way text messaging (SMS) to allow the driver and call centre to easily communicate even when the vehicle is in motion. Messages can be pre-defined for ease of use or setup on the fly. One specific message that is tied to a couple of the display keys is an SOS message in case the driver experiences any trouble, the location of the unit is then sent via SMS to the call centre, this can then be forwarded onto the authorities and anyone else that needs to know.

Voice

The device has two-way voice functionality, the user can call any contact that is in the unit’s phone book, this is also configurable via software or the website, the unit also accepts calls from any number, as the speaker and microphone are implemented with the unit it is classed as a hands-free device and can be used while driving.

Hardware

The small 22mm x 80mm size of the SafeTrac Tracer 300 processor hardware means it can be used in small vehicles such as vans and cars. It is also being used for earth moving plant and static machinery. The SafeTrac Tracer 300 can be connected to the vehicle's CAN bus ignition to detect engine on/off, idling, gears, revbands etc.

The SafeTrac Tracer 300 is an ideal device for real time commercial vehicle tracking, use the form provided to request further information.
