Units Screen

Shows each Unit for a customer, Units may be Tracer 100, Tracer 200, Twig Discovery, Twig Locator or Benefon ESC.

Also shows latest position as Address and Postcode, along with the next scheduled call time.

By clicking on the appropriate icon the following actions are carried out:

Call Now - The Unit will be called immediately to determine position
Goto Unit On Map - Flips to the Map Screen with the chosen Unit in the centre
Edit Unit - The selected Units parameters can be altered
Delete Unit - The selected Unit may be deleted from the system.

Map Screen

This is a fully interactive map showing positions of Units. It comes with full UK mapping, showing every road and street, along with features such as parks, railways, rivers and built-up areas. The amount of detail shown automatically changes with the zooming in and out of the map, this avoids clutter. For instance, when zoomed out to show the whole country, only motorways are shown. If you seem in a bit more Trunk roads will be shown, further in and A roads will be shown etc.

It is possible to create "User Places", these are map positions that can be used to show customs names on reports. For example you may wish to label a location as "Southern Depot", or to show the positions of major customers. The User Places can also be used as "Geofences" which, depending on Unit type, can be used to trigger alarms. This can can very useful if you want to know when a Unit has left (or entered) a particular place.

Send Message Screen

From here you can create and send text messages to your Units. Preset messages can be used to save typing. Messages can be sent to one or more Unit at a time.

The following Units types can receive and display messages:

Tracer 200 - When fitted with In-Cab Display Unit, can send and receive messages
Twig Discovery - Can send and receive messages
Other Mobile Phone - An ordinary Mobile Phone can be configured as a Webtrac Unit. They can send and receive messages, but cannot be tracked

Unit Message Screen

This screen shows the history of messages sent to, and received from Units. When message history is no longer required, they may be deleted from here.

Information shown includes:

Date and Time of message
Unit Name
Whether it was Sent or Received
The message text

User Places Screen

Shows all the custom "User Places" for a customer. User Places are created from either the Map Screen using a mouse, or from here using a latitude and longitude. Each User Place can have 2 names, a short one for displaying on the map, or a longer one for use on the Reports.

Information shown includes:

Use - A symbol showing if used as Geofence, and whether it is "Enter" or "Leave" type
Map Name
Report Name
The radius used for Addresses on reports
The radius used for Geofences
The position as Latitude and Longitude
There are also icons for Editing, Deleting, and jumping to the User Place on the map screen.

Report Creation Screen

From here the user can create a report for a given Unit, Geofence or Driver. A Shift time can be chosen, as well as Start and End dates for the report. In addition the preferred measurement units can be selected, such as Miles / Metres, Litre / Gallons etc. There are many different reports to choose from, although they may not all be applicable to every Unit type.

Reports include:

Location
Journey
Position
Idling Time
Standing Time
Unit Geofence
Area Geofence
Performance
Real Time Events
Driver
Speeding

Location Report

This report is shown as a sample. This report shows the address every time the unit switches off or idles. Idling can be configured to show for instance, every time the Unit stops, with engine running for more than 2 minutes.

For every Journey (Ignition On to Ignition Off), a summary is shown of driving and idling times, as well as distance, fuel used, and fuel economy (MPG or Litres / 100km).

A summary is displayed for the whole reporting period showing:

Driving, Idling and Standing times
Fuel used
Distance
Maximum Speed
Fuel Economy
A less detailed version of this report, only showing addresses for Ignition On / Off is called a Journey Report.

Standing Time Report

This report shows the address and times for a Unit "Standing". Standing Time is defined as the Unit being stationary with the ignition off.

It also shows a summary for the whole report period, including:

Driving Time
Idling Time
Standing Time
Percentages for this are also shown. This is useful for determining the amount of time your Unit spends actually working.

A similar report is available for showing the Idling Time for a Unit.
