Local councils are set to introduce new powers to penalise motorists Idling in there vehicles
A £20 fine for drivers found idling is in the pipeline, this fixed penalty charge will be issued to drivers found idling on a public highway.
Stepping up a gear to reduce air pollution is a high priority for all councils . So reducing the idling of vehicles will be come high on the hit list for many companies and individual’s .
These notices will be issued by the councils civil enforcement offices , community safety patrol offices and environmental officers while carrying out there normal duty’s .
These new measure will start to take place at the end of March 2020.
