Geotab is pleased to announce that the GO9 is now available in Europe in limited quantities on the Telefonica network.
Power and accuracy in a compact design
The new Geotab GO9 has been redesigned from the ground up. With added power and memory, the Geotab GO9 delivers actionable data on location and driving behavior, and is ready to support the needs of your fleet now and as you grow.
New features include:
• More computing power with additional flash memory to accommodate future features. Includes a 32-bit processor with 4x more memory and 5x more RAM than previous GO devices.
• Some vehicle protocols may no longer require adapter harnesses.
• Improved harsh braking, acceleration and collision data with the addition of a gyroscope, which analyzes the angular and diagonal movement of the device.
• New Global Navigation Satellite GNSS module (GLONASS+GPS support) providing increasingly accurate location data. The GNSS module also supports over-the-air software updates.
• New provisioning process applies the latest firmware and configuration at the time of install, for enhanced privacy, security and reliability.
